We recommend that vehicle owners use top tier gasoline to increase vehicle performance. Buy gas at gas stations that are busy. This makes sure that you don’t put gas in your car that has been sitting too long in a gas tank.
How long should I allow my engine to warm up in the winter?
Actually, your engine doesn’t need to idle for longer than 15-30 seconds in any time of the year. The one exception to this is if your vehicle is pulling a heavy load like a trailer. In that case, you should let it idle for 4-6 minutes to make sure the oil gets warm enough.
What should I do to take care of my car if I won’t be driving it for a while?
If won’t be driving your car for an extended period of time, ask someone you trust to start the car approximately every three weeks. It’s best to get everything working out on a dry road that’s not salted once a month or so.
How much extra gas do I use when my air conditioning is on?
